References to “Walkin’s”, “our”, “we” or “us” throughout this document mean Walkin’s Gift Shop. Whenever appropriate in these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), terms in the singular form shall include the plural (and vice versa) and any gender form shall include all others.
The use of this Website and the purchase of Goods (“Product” or “Item”) from this Website are governed by these Terms. Please read the Terms carefully before using the Website as they contain important information about your rights and obligations. SECURE PAYMENTS
We accept VISA and Mastercard as the preferred online payment method for orders placed on this Website. All online payments on this Website are processed by PayPal or Stripe. At no point during the payment process do we have access to your card details as the payment process is operated and managed by either PayPal or Stripe, depending on your chosen payment method.
You may also pay for your order by Cheque or Bank Transfer. In all instances, goods will not be dispatched until payment has been received in full.
WEBSITE USE AND SECURITY
You are entirely responsible for any and all activities that occur under your use of this Website, together with your account which is provided to you by this Website. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use or any other breach of security.
PRICE AND AVALABILITY OF PRODUCTS
The price listed on the Website ('Price') for Products will be as shown in Euro at the time you place your order. We may, at our discretion and without notice, adjust the Price of Products from time to time. We may also, at our discretion and without notice, withdraw Products from the Website.
Please note that all Products displayed on this Website are subject to availability and delays may sometimes occur that are outside of our control. If you order a Product that is out of stock or subject to a delay, we will contact you by email regarding the Product and provide you with details of the expected delivery.
If delivery of a Product is delayed for more than 28 days, you have the right to contact us and cancel the order for the delayed Product. In these circumstances, we will refund you the Price paid for the delayed Product along with any associated delivery charges. However, we will not be responsible for any other losses, costs, damages or charges that you may suffer if we delay in supplying or do not supply any Product.
MAKING A PURCHASE
All orders that you place on the Website will be subject to acceptance in accordance with these Terms.
Following placement of an order on this Website you will receive a confirmation email confirming that the order has been received and is being processed. Once the order has been fulfilled, you will receive a second email confirming dispatch. Please note that all order fulfilment estimate times and dispatch estimate times are just estimates and are not guaranteed and consequently should not in either instance be understood to be so.
All Products displayed on this Website are subject to availability. Please note that when you add an Item to the shopping cart it is not reserved for you. Items that are in the cart for an extended period of time may be bought by another customer.
PROMOTIONS
We may offer promotions on our Website from time to time. While these promotions are subject to these Terms we do reserve the right to alter the Terms for all promotions.
Promotion or Discount codes can only be applied to Products offered for sale at full price. Promotion or Discount codes cannot be combined or used on Products that are already discounted, gift vouchers, services or shipping charges. Only one Promotion or Discount code can be used per order.
SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
We employ third-party courier service providers (“Courier” or “Couriers”) to deliver your goods. The Courier will endeavour to deliver the goods to you within the lead-time shown to the delivery address provided by you at time of order, where this is practical.
At time of delivery the Courier will require a signature to confirm delivery of the goods, after which time the goods become your sole responsibility. If no one is available to accept your delivery or the delivery address cannot be located by the Courier, the Courier will contact you using the telephone number provided by you at time of order. Our Couriers deliver Monday through Friday during business hours.
For orders with delivery addresses outside of the European Union (“EU”), we are not responsible for any additional tariffs, duties or taxes that may be levied on goods by the customs authority in the delivery country. Please be aware that when you place an order on this site for delivery outside the EU you are considered to be the importer of record by the customs authority in the delivery country. You should also be aware that international deliveries may be opened and inspected by customs authorities.
RETURNS POLICY
When you make an online purchase, you have a statutory right to return goods (with the exception of a small number of Items – see below) up to 14 days after your order has been delivered - as per the European Directive on Distance Selling (Directive 2011/83/EC) - so long as the goods are returned with the original receipt, are in their original condition, have not been used, have not been worn and all original labels and packaging remain in an 'as new' state.
Refunds will be processed via the payment method used at time of purchase and may take up to 15 working days to complete.
Prior to returning goods, please contact us by sending an e-mail to cs@walkins.ie to receive a Return Merchandise Authorisation (RMA) Code to ensure the return is accurately tracked. This RMA code should then be included with the returned Product. We recommend using a reliable insured carrier for returns.
Unfortunately, for hygiene reasons we are unable to accept returns for the following Items:
• Earrings
• Hats
• Scarves
• Gloves
• Socks
In accordance with the European Directive on Distance Selling, we are unable to accept returns of customised goods made according to custom specifications (e.g. personalised or engraved items) or perishable goods.
Responsibility for the cost of returning goods lies with you. We strongly recommend that you obtain a tracking number for your return parcel. Please note that we are not responsible for returned goods until they have been received at the returns address location and shall not be held responsible for Goods lost or damaged while in transit. DAMAGED OR FAULTY GOODS
If goods are damaged or faulty upon delivery, we will arrange a replacement or refund provided you notify us of the damage to or fault within 24 hours of delivery. Please send us full details of the damage (include photos) or fault by email to cs@walkins.ie and we will help arrange a replacement or refund.
Please note that a refund cannot be processed or credit provided until the returned goods are received by us at the returns address shown above. Until received and signed for by us, the goods remain your responsibility.
ACCORDANCE WITH SPECIFICATIONS
All reasonable efforts have been made to ensure each photograph published on the Website accurately reflects the Product being sold. On occasions, there may be minor differences between the Product's appearance in the photograph and the item delivered due to manufacturing changes beyond our control.
Furthermore, all descriptive matter, drawings, pictures, colours, specifications and advertising on the Website are for the sole purpose of giving an approximate description of the Product.
